Lodging

If you prefer indoor lodging, there are many places to rent in nearby Philomath (20 minute drive from the wedding site) or Corvallis (30 minute drive from the wedding site).

We recommend checking out VRBO for rental houses, apartments, and hotels, or Hipcamp for “glamping” options. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about where to stay!

If you prefer to camp, we invite you to stay on the land at the wedding site in Alsea.

See below for details.

Important things to know if you’re camping:

  • Please plan to arrive early (before 2:30pm) so that you have time to set up your campsite before the ceremony at 4pm.

  • There are spots for RVs and trailers in the “parking lot” (a.k.a. front field), and tent camping spots in the side field. We will have folks available to help you get to where you need to go when you arrive.

  • Because water on the land is limited (all water is pumped from the creek), we ask that campers use the outdoor porta-potty. We will have a handwashing station and drinking water available, as well as a covered area for you to get “wedding ready”. There will not be showers available for campers.

  • For those who are tent camping, please know that the field is fairly lumpy. You will want to have adequate padding to sleep on to be comfortable.

  • Please no furry friends on the land for this event. While we are animal lovers, having 70+ humans on the land with their animals will be too much for our nervous systems to handle on this momentous day!

  • A light breakfast will be provided for campers the morning after the wedding (vegan and GF options available).
